The Silmar Apartment complex is situated in a quiet residential area of Albuyfeira, just 20 metres from the town centre and one kilometre from the beach. This four floor property features 28 simply furnished apartments with fully equipped kitchens, private bathrooms and furnished balconies with views of Albufeira Beacch. Rooms are decorated in simple pale colours and have light oak wood furnishings. All include air conditioning, satellite television and telephones.
Guests can enjoy relaxing days lounging on a sun bed by the swimming pool or take a short stroll down to the beach, which offers many opportunities for water sports. The small hotel garden offers guests some shade and the apartment's location provides great views of the beach and Albufeira's Old Town, with its maze of streets and nightlife. The hotel's multilingual staff can offer advice on making the most of the local area. The Strip, with its many bars, restaurants and shops, can be found three blocks from the apartments. The Old Town and the Marina are both within three kilometres of the hotel. Faro Airport is 39 kilometres away and can be reached by car in approximately 35 minutes.

Taxis can be caught from outside the terminal building; typical fares to Albufeira are 35 45 EUR. Buses can also be caught outside the terminal building. Aerobus provides a shuttle service between the airport and city centre daily (except Tuesday) in high season. Albufeira town centre, beach and Old town can be easily explored on foot. A hire car would be recommended for trips out of town or exploring the surrounding areas.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the signs for Portim�o, Albufeira on the motorway, then take the exit to Albufeira. After arriving in Albufeira, go left towards the town hall, drive around the town hall and then, after passing the Telecom shop, turn onto the road with a bank on the corner. The Silmar Apartments are located on the right hand side of this road.
