The Ria Park Garden Hotel is housed in a four storey white building, set 900 metres from the golden sands of the Algarve's Vale do Garr�o Beach, five kilometres south of Almancil and four kilometres west of Quinta do Lago. The 109 guestrooms all have balconies and feature ceramic tiled floors, co ordinated, patterned fabrics and contemporary furnishings. All are equipped with climate control, satellite television, dial up Internet connections (for a fee) and minibars. The marble bathrooms include hair dryers, bidets and complimentary toiletries.

The hotel boasts a pink, marble floored lobby with cushioned rattan seating and an adjacent solarium featuring a fabric draped ceiling and a display of Portuguese ceramics. A family pool and a children's pool provide warm weather outdoor swimming in a floral garden setting, complete with palm and pine trees, potted orange trees and a rock waterfall. The pool complex includes a sundeck and lawn furnished with cushioned lounge chairs. Guests can enjoy the facilities of the Health Club, which includes fitness equipment, a jetted tub, a hydrotherapy pool and a Turkish bath. The hotel also houses floodlit tennis courts, a pool table and table tennis, and offers organised activities during the day. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby for a surcharge. The Garr�o Restaurant offers traditional Portuguese and international dishes, including fresh fish, and light meals are available at the poolside bar during the summer. The town of Almancil, with good shopping and restaurants, is five kilometres from the hotel, while the historic town of Loul� is 10 kilometres away. Six golf courses lie within four kilometres of the hotel. The hotel spa features an indoor heated pool, a range of massage treatments, classical and Asian, reflexology and aromatherapy. In addition, there is a fully equipped gym.

Driving Directions

Taxis and vans for up to eight passengers are available at the airport. Rental bicycles are available at the hotel. From May through October, a complimentary shuttle service is available to the beach 900, metres from the hotel.
Driving directions: From Faro Airport, follow signs to Hwy N 125 and go west in the direction of Portim�o. Proceed for approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) to signs pointing to Portim�o and Loul�. Turn toward Portim�o and proceed for approximately 3 km (1.75 miles) to signs for Almancil. Turn toward Almancil and proceed into town. Follow signs pointing to Vale do Garr�o and Vale do Lobo until the road ends, then turn right. Turn left at the second road, marked by large sign for hotel. Proceed approximately 2.5 km (1.5 miles) to an arch with a sign for Vale do Garr�o. Go through the arch and proceed until the first T junction. Turn left. The hotel entrance is straight ahead, approximately 200 metres on the left.
