The Hotel Tryp Coimbra is a modern conference hotel situated on a hillside 500 metres from the city's historical and commercial centre. The 133 air conditioned guestrooms have decor in neutral colours with light wood furniture and patterned curtains. All rooms are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, direct dial phones, minibars, safes and bathrooms with hair dryers.
Three fully equipped conference rooms can accommodate up to 100 people. During lunch breaks, delegates can indulge in some retail therapy in the shopping gallery, unwind in the sauna or check their email using high speed Internet. In the evenings, guests can attend formal functions in the banquet hall or chat over drinks in the lobby bar. Regional specialities are served in the Magistrado restaurant, which has green toned decor and marble floors. The bars, restaurants and attractions of the city centre can be found 500 metres away, or guests can visit the Portugal dos Pequenitos attraction park three kilometres away. Oporto Airport is 37 kilometres from the hotel with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
