The Quinta Do Monte Hotel is set in a renovated Madeiran manor house, located in the parish village of Monte, seven kilometres from central Funchal. The 48 air conditioned guestrooms have classic European decor with warm colours. They all offer balconies overlooking the tropical gardens, direct dial phones, cable television, Internet access, hair dryers, safes, slippers and welcome amenities.
Guests have access to one of the most impressive tropical gardens in Madeira, where the exclusive Vistas Spa offers guests a choice of massage and beauty treatments, Turkish bath, whirlpool, jetted tub, sauna and use of the heated indoor swimming pool. The Monte Gardens Restaurant is a formal dining room, showcasing the antique Madeiran manor house with tropical greenery and panoramic views. It serves Madeiran, Portuguese and International cuisine and offers an extensive wine list including Portuguese specialties. Those wishing to explore the island can explore the village of Monte, walk the Levada dos Tornos hiking trail 500 metres away, or visit the town of Funchal, seven kilometres from the hotel. Madeira Funchal International Airport is 25 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

Taxis are readily available from the Arrivals terminal and cost approximately 35 EUR to the hotel. Madeira is best explored by hired car, taxi or bicycle.
Driving directions: From the airport, go towards Funchal on the highway and exit at Monte. At the crossing, turn left; continue until the roundabout and take the first exit on the right, continue until the village of Monte. At the end of the Largo take the exit at the church, turn left and the main entrance to the hotel is 50 metres on the right.
