Location. The Whitelaw Hotel, located in Miami Beach, Fla., is positioned adjacent to famous shops and restaurants in the center of the Art Deco District on Collins Avenue. The hotel stands one block from the beach and one mile from Lincoln Road boutiques.
Hotel Features. The retro style lobby features black shag carpets and custom made white Baroque style sofas. Hot pink curtains drape the windows, sultry music plays in the lobby, and complimentary cocktails flow during the nightly happy hour. This hotel's retro 808 Caf� & Bar is a vodka bar equally adept in the martini, champagne, espresso drink and dessert departments. The concierge arranges VIP access to most of the major South Beach nightclubs and complimentary access to Nikki Beach. Function space accommodates events, and wireless Internet access is available for a fee. The hotel offers discounted access to Crunch Gym of Miami Beach, located six blocks from the hotel. Additional property amenities include complimentary transportation to and from Miami International Airport.
Guestrooms. The three story Whitelaw Hotel offers 49 guestrooms bathed in whimsical hues of hot pink and bright white. Baroque d�cor includes the marble clad bathrooms. Beds are draped in Belgian linens and goose down comforters. Crystal chandeliers suspend from the ceilings. Rooms feature 42" plasma televisions, flat stereos and ipod docking stations. Additional room amenities include fully stocked minibars, refrigerators and in room safes.
Expert Tip. The hotel's bar menu includes more than 50 specialty martinis. Unique selections include blueberry and melon. The Whitelaw Martini is a fabulous blend of smooth vodka, chocolate and cream.
